Allotments

Welcome to the Staveley with Ings Parish Council web site dedicated Allotments page.

Information on this page includes a copy of the current Tenancy Agreement for Allotment Holders, and Rules for use of the allotments, Guidance for plot holders wishing to erect sheds, poly tunnels or fences of any type and the current Dog Policy for allotment holders.

If you are interested in becoming an allotment holder, you can contact the parish clerk with your details.

New holders start their tenancy on 1 April of each year.

Anyone not working their allotment will be asked to leave as there is a short waiting list.

Allotments cost 20p per square metre annually.

These parish council allotments are in the process of being regenerated after many years of neglect, but those currently holding plots have made huge advances in developing their plots and in the general appearance of the site, through volunteering for work parties there from time to time.

If you’d like to look around the allotments please get in touch with Anne Salisbury, Chair of the Parish Council Allotments Working Group.
